Omega Invest as your new creditor
If you are notified about assignment of claim, it means that your outstanding debt has been sold to Omega Invest as the new creditor. The new creditor has received the right to collect all claimed amounts, including any collateral claims. All payments of the debt should also be made to the new creditor.
If you contact the original creditor, you will be referred back to Omega Invest.
If you receive a notice of claim assignment / letter of claim from Omega Invest regarding an assigned claim
1. After receiving a notice of claim assignment / letter of claim, please contact the person specified in the contact details without delay in order to reach an agreement on debt payment. If you cannot settle the entire debt amount at once, we can also offer the option of a payment schedule to arrange payment of the debt in instalments.
2. If your receive a notice / letter of claim from a debt collection firm with a corresponding power of attorney, it means that your debt has been submitted for collection to a debt collection company serving as our partner. In this case, please contact the respective debt collection company to arrange a payment agreement. Omega Invest will not enter into alternative payment agreements during a debt collection procedure.
